DSR offers studio design, alignment and tuning services that will ensure your studio provides the best sonic translation and representation of your work possible. Is your control room deceiving you? The acoustic environment that surrounds your studio setup can have a much larger impact on your recording and mixing decisions than you think. One of the reasons that mixes do not translate well outside of the studio is directly correlated to what an acoustical environment can add or take away through the frequency sweep. That in turn causes engineers to make decisions that compensate for the acoustic instability. The process to correct this issue is a two phase approach. First, acoustical treatment must be applied to correct the studio environment which addresses sort and long reflections as well as frequency bumps. This is done by applying acoustic panels and bass traps. Secondly, monitor alignment and tuning completes the process. This will fine tune the monitor output to compensate for any small residual acoustic instability and allow your studio acoustics and monitors to work together creating the most accurate sonic representation of your work possible.
